I am not really sure how I have managed to miss that Whitley Bay hosts a film festival every year showcasing older films and giving you the chance to see them on the big screen. This is certainly something I am going to be getting involved in and heading to see some of the films.
It is taking place between 10th August until 3rd September 2017.
The full 2017 Programme is due to be announced later this month, but they have made a very exciting announcement that some of the festival will be taking place in Newcastle at the Tyne Theatre and Opera House.
This is from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th August, these tickets are currently on sale with the Programme here. I will be keeping up to date to see which other films are going to be on over the weeks. I will also be blogging about it as well!

Thanks for reminding me about this Festival. Never been to it before, probably because I’m very often on holiday when it’s on. I’ll be interested to see which films they show. I still haven’t been to the Jam Jar Cinema either!
