The Royal Tenenbaums (2001) Review

The Tenenbaums are a rather dysfunctional family with the three gifted siblings having the potential to go on to achieve great success as they did in youth but not being able to transfer that into adulthood. Has positive discrimination in film gone too far?

Positive discrimination – the practice or policy of favouring individuals belonging to groups known to have been discriminated against previously.

I am quite happy that this could be seen as controversial but in all honesty I am growing tired of how everything has been developing over the past few years. We cannot change the past and influence how people were treated, that mainly being women’s roles. But remember life was different years ago and women were seen as being second to men. I’ve always been in a male dominated world with football, so just come to accept certain things. We are now getting films that are supposed to be historical but then changed to make the female roles bigger and that annoys me in terms of story. Men have got a lot of hate through the MeToo movement and this has transferred into film as well.

7 Outstanding Endgame Moments!

Now that the ban has lifted on talking about Endgame, this was timed for the Spider-Man: Far From Home Trailer as it is the first film after and obviously the trailer contains spoilers. I have seen Endgame twice so far at the cinema with a plan to see it again tomorrow and I am possibly looking at it becoming my most watched film at the cinema if I manage to get five viewings in!

We are reunited with our favourite characters following the end of Infinity War and enter into the world where people have been lost. This shows the psychological strain it places on people and trying to adapt to life after the traumatic event.

Poster: Avenger Series

The up and coming End Game is going to be the fourth Avengers film and I thought this was the perfect opportunity to take a look at the main character posters for each film. How we have plenty more within the Universe and how they have changed.

I actually think I love the End game one the most, Inifity War is a little bit disappointing I feel. Age of Ultron shows how crazy the film was going to be.
