Let’s Go To The Movies – 50 Favourite Films!

This is something I have been putting together for quite a long time now and I have held off posting it or even attempting to start the blog post in fear that I have forgotten and somehow missed a favourite film from the list. Barring in mind I got up to 72 films and then had to cut it down to the 50. I would like to make clear these are my favourite films, some might have happened to win Oscars as well and some certainly have not at all. The way I have decided on my favourites is the sheer joy they bring and the number of rewatches I have had over the years. While I have listed 1-50 a lot of them can be shifted around and changed with each other. It is going to highlight my love for musicals and for certain actors and actresses! I doubt it will contain many surprises though!

Oscars 2020: Taika Waititi and Roman Griffin Davis

One day I might stop posting and spamming about the Jojo Rabbit cast, but that is not today. As Taika Waititi won an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay he also directed and starred in the film bringing out an incredible performance from child actor Roman Griffin Davis! This photo is a truly lovely moment between director and the young actor, not forgetting the Oscar as well!

Recently my biggest film love has come in the form of Jojo Rabbit! So here’s Jojo and Elsa dancing to remind everyone that when you are free you get to dance!

Top 25 – Male Performances in 2019

Here are the Male performances that have made my top 25 for the 2019 films that I managed to see throughout the year. This will include some 2018 films by date but due to the UK release dates they were available for this list. I actually had 45 on the long list so to cut it down it was a very tough ask! Some amazing films and therefore performances in 2019!
