Yesterday I ran my fastest ever marathon in 4 hours and 4 minutes so felt as though todays Musical Moments had to be one of the songs I find most inspirational from my running playlist. Obviously Rocky IV is truly incredible as well!
After seeing Creed II yesterday I could not help but think about my favourite Rocky musical moments, we all know just how great the training scenes are with a truly inspiring piece of music along with it. So much so many of the songs are on my running/gym playlist to really help you push!
Cinema would be nothing without its villains. Not every story has one, of course, but from ordinary antagonists to world-conquering super villains, there’s usually someone to root against, and it’s often these characters that entertain us most, or most effectively drive a story forward. And almost always, these characters lose.
Generally, this is what moviegoers want. We want to see compelling antagonists who are ultimately defeated by more relatable or morally admirable heroes. Ok, so since I am currently living in the USA. I dont have access to my DVDs or even watching good old Sky Movies. So I have started looking at iTunes for the cheap movies of the week. To which I bought Rocky 4.
I also bought Field of Dreams, which I have not seen yet . . . so watch this space for a review coming very soon. Love a bit of Kevin Costner.
