Over the past few years I have found myself buying a new Christmas jumper, mainly for Christmas Day each year and have gone for film related ones in recent times. Although rather disappointing when hardly anyone actually knew that my Golden Girls jumper was in fact the Golden Girls. You can get some outstanding ones now which is why I decided to put together this blog post to highlight just how amazing some of the Christmas jumpers are and they appeal to pretty much every single fandom! Whatever you love the most you are guaranteed to find a jumper for that somewhere!
You can get a lot that are in sweatshirt style but I still personally prefer the proper trashy jumper style and when you add in film they really do have some great levels of detail on them.
Throughout the summer all around the country pop up cinemas and giant screens appear. Newcastle has one on the green which is totally free of charge and runs whatever the weather! Check out the films that have already been on and those to come running until September.

The new Ghostbusters has been causing a stir since it was announced let alone actually released at the cinema. This week has seen previews and the build up to the official release date. I didn’t realise in all honesty that the original Ghostbusters had such a crazy fan base. Don’t get be wrong I love those films they are funny and were a little bit different loved watching them as a kid, but as a young girl where was my role model? A woman who needed constantly saving? Not the best message to send out, this has got me thinking and inspired this blog post to have a look at how far female characters have come in the film world and why this latest bashing is absolutely ridiculous.
I am going to use this blog post to put together my favourite film from each year since I was born, just want to clarify that I have picked favourites so therefore might not actually be the greatest film in the world!

With the current weather being so cold and the threat (or maybe you actually have some) of snow is a daily occurrence. I live in the North East of England and we have been pretty let off with it so far only the odd downpours but not actually lying on the ground I thought I would quickly put together a list of films which have quite a lot of snow in them!
I have tried to mix some obvious choices with some you might not expect!
Having been to see Frozen last night it got me thinking about Disney have really decided to change the way a Disney Princess behaves. Might have been touched on a little with Tangled and Brave but that wasn’t quite there. However Frozen changes everything! Honestly we you see it you will understand exactly what I mean.
So this blog post was inspired by Frozen and made me think about all of the other Disney Princesses and how the role of a woman has changed in the world and now Disney are eventually catching up. I mean I not saying that every second they were pinning after a man but the happily ever after ending was nailed on for each of them and quite often the men had to be the one to save them. Usually something to do with true love.
Anna and Elsa were inseparable as children until Elsa (who has magical powers) ends up hurting her sister. Anna has no idea about the incident s therefore does not understand why Elsa pushed her away. On the day of her coronation to the throne Elsa cannot contain her powers and sets the kingdom in eternal winter.
