Theatre: Glengarry Glen Ross Signed Poster

My amazing signed poster by the cast of the recent West End production of Glengarry Glen Ross starring the one and only Christian Slater arrived last week! I won it in a competition on Facebook which was set up the play’s page! All I had to do was like and comment on it, I was wondering though the fact that my Facebook profile picture is with Christian Slater helped my cause.

Just incase you did not remember I met him (Christian Slater Stage Door) but I managed to miss getting his autograph so to win the full cast signed poster is just fantastic as you can see the cast was fantastic not forgetting to mention that it’s amazing quality.

Thanks to the social media team for picking me as a winner on Facebook!

2016 at the Theatre

Here I go with an overview of my 2016 of theatre trips to see musicals and plays. Touring shows that have come to the North East at the Theatre Royal in Newcastle and the Sunderland Empire. As well as managing to have a few trips down to London to take in what the West End has to offer! You can check out the list of shows here. I have somehow managed to out do 2015 catching 31 shows in 2016!

The brilliant amazing thing that happened was the Official Les Misérables twitter feed had only went and put my review on! Pretty exciting stuff and was extremely chuffed about it, as you can imagine that saw a massive boom in my stats!

Move out of the way kids, I’ve been waiting 11 years to see “Toy Story 3”

Inspired by a “become a fan” or now “like” on Facebook. I thought it was a good title to write some build up about the long-awaited third installment of Toy Story. To really get into this blog I guess I have to think back to 1995 and the release of the first Toy Story when I was 7/8 years old! So I had to be in the target audience for this film. I went to the cinema to see it and can remember totally loving it and I used to hope my toys came to life when I was not around (yes, probably extremely sad to admit that but it is true, and I am sure a lot of you out there felt exactly the same). The thought of your toys having adventures and everything really was just fantastic. Plus this was the first Pixar animation and so different to all the previous animated films we had ever seen.
