I received an email a few days ago with information about winning the chance to attend the 2010 Empire Film Awards.

“Citroën is giving one lucky film fan the chance to attend this prestigious event. The prize is a pair of tickets (the winner and a friend) to attend the exclusive awards ceremony, schmooze with guests at the VIP after-party and then crash down in a nearby luxury London hotel with complimentary breakfast for the morning after.”

It really is a fantastic prize for any film fan out there, the awards are usually very good and honor films which tend to get missed from all the other awards shows as the fans vote for their favorites of the past year.

The nominees have been announced for the 2010 Jameson Empire Film Awards. You can now vote for your favorite to win, five nominees to choose from in each category.

I’ve always liked the Empire awards as you get the chance for more mainstream good films which are usually snubbed by the Oscars and the general awards season. Like the big blockbusters. I have submitted my votes . . . who will you vote for?
