What better way to celebrate than sharing some of my favourite actresses on international women’s day?
The saddest news to end 2021 that the legend that is Betty White has passed away at 99 years of age, only weeks away from her 100th birthday. I have always been a massive Golden Girls fan and her performances as Rose will never fail to cheer me up. Rest in peace Betty ❤️ thank you for being our friend.
Having re-watched the amazing and one of my favourites The Golden Girls from season 1 to season 7, I mentioned that I was going to have a takeover on Let’s Go To The Movies really celebrating the four golden girls! I thought I would therefore mix it together with a feature I often have on a Monday, Musical Moments you know to cheer everyone up on the worst day of the week! Obviously Bea Arthur had an incredible Broadway career!Read More »
I have always totally loved The Golden Girls and found myself over the years watching it whenever it was on TV. This was on quite a few different channels in the UK and I even bought seasons 1-4 on DVD when they were released. The only issue was they never have released seasons 5-7 on DVD and last year when it was on Channel 5 they only went up to season 4 as well. During trips and living in the US I would always manage to find it on some channels and different episodes.Read More »
That’s right our Golden Girl Betty White turns an incredible 99 years old today! Happy Birthday Betty White 🥳
That’s right the last living Golden Girl is 98 years young today! Betty White still working to this day is an absolute legend, The Golden Girls is one of my all time favourite tv shows and I just had to post to wish Betty White a very Happy Birthday!
Now living with a new child in Bonnie we get to see our favourite toys and a new one in Forky and the road trip which occurs to open up the world for toys, maybe they have more options than just being in a room.
After seeing Allied last night it got me to thinking about how much I have always been into World War II. Although when I decided to put this list together I have now realised that I have not actually seen as many of the films based on this War as I actually expected. I therefore picked my seven favourites that I have seen (so far). Please let me know which ones are your favourites and which ones I should really watch!
I have tried to have quite varied choices!
