Just seen that this sad news broke a couple of hours ago now. I personally love him as Daddy Warbucks in Annie as well as Ed in Erin Brockovich! He was 82 years old and had starred in some very big films.
Rest in Peace ❤
Rest in peace Penny Marshall who passed away at the age of 75. She has been a truly outstanding role model for female directors having directed the following films Jumpin’ Jack Flash (a personal favourite of mine), Big, Awakenings, A League of Their Own, The Preacher’s Wife, Riding in Cars with Boys. All truly outstanding films! Also not forgetting her amazing cameo performance in Hocus Pocus! She was the first female director to direct a film that grossed over 100 million dollars in the US with Big!
Some sad news today that the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin has passed away at the age of 76.
A truly iconic singer who has moved everyone with her unique voice and style over the decades.
Today is the 10th anniversary of Heath Ledger’s tragic death at 28 years old, I wanted to put together something as a celebration of his life and the incredible performances he left us with.
Today’s musical moment is such a great scene from 10 Things I Hate About You when Ledger sings “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You”
Forever Rest in Peace Heath ❤
Today marks a very sad day, it is 10 years since Heath Ledger left this world all too soon!
The news broke earlier today that actor and playwright Sam Shepard has passed away at the age of 72.
Even though he had a small role in August: Osage County but I totally loved him in that and have enjoyed the other performances of his I have seen as well.
Thoughts go out to his family and friends, Rest In Peace.
Such sad news that actor John Heard has passed away at the age of 72. I have actually just watched Big this morning and was thinking that Heard was in so many films in the late 80s and early 90s that I totally love.
He is probably most well known for being the Dad in Home Alone, my other favourites include Beaches, Big and The Guardian.
Rest in Peace John.
The sad news has just been broken that Gene Wilder has passed away at 83 years old. Very well known for his fantastic comedic performances and what better way to pay tribute than this . . .
Rest In Peace
I woke up to this sad news this morning. I was such a fan of Joanie when I used to watch the Wrestling and as a young girl I felt she was an inspiration for women to never give up and prove that we can really compete with men. I will be forever grateful for the courage she gave me to believe I could do anything I wanted! Even when having a tough life and having to constantly fight (her book is very good as well).
RIP Joanie Laurer ❤
