Thanks to comic con and quite possibly the best £2 I will ever spend I bring you the latest in the recreating the movie posts with E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial!
Before Disney realised that it was actually a great idea to sell costumes, back in the 90s and for Christmas one year my Auntie actually made me my very own Pocahontas outfit! I had actually promised to post this photo when I reviewed the film (here) therefore when I came across this photo this morning I had to double check to see if I had posted this in my Recreated the Movie feature!
It also comes as a small tribute to my Nanna Darling who passed away six years ago today! Forever RIP to the gorgeous woman who reminded me of Joan Collins ❤️
Let’s do the time warp again … I have waited three years now to be Columbia again and throughly enjoyed seeing the Rocky Horror on stage again last night for the 7th time!
A fantastic day trip on Monday to Alnwick Castle where different scenes in Harry Potter were filmed, they also have a broomstick lesson which was certainly a lot of fun for us adults as well as kids, luckily the group we ended up in had more adults! The photo and video taking with the broomsticks afterwards was very amusing and as you can see we have done well to recreate Harry Potter!
I cannot believe that I actually forgot to post this one! But another addition to recreating the movie feature and this time it is Monsters Inc! Meeting Sully at The Word in South Shields!
Currently a Monsters exhibition is taking place at The Word in South Shields so I couldn’t resist getting involved with the King Kong part!
I decided to wait a few days before adding another movie recreation to the blog after the London trip last week. The Lego shop recently opened in Leicester Square but it has always had a queue and I decided it wasn’t really worth queuing, how wrong that is! Such an impressive shop with so many incredible Lego creations.
With Lego Batman movie out they had a very cool Batman made from Lego! I still need to try and see the film!
