Let’s Go To The Movies started in February 2009

I attend the cinema a lot, mainly due to the Cineworld Unlimited Card, I review each film I watch. I also review films that are on Netflix UK, Amazon Video, Sky Cinema, Blu Ray and DVD. If you would like to send me a screener or invite to watch a film for review please use the contact details below and I will be more than happy to do just that!

As well as the cinema and film from that I have really grown to love the Theatre, I go to see all different types of shows, especially musicals. I have been broadening my outlook with a lot more plays over the past few years! If you would like me to attend and review your show please see contact details below to get in touch!

That’s me Caroline aka Caz, I absolutely love everything film and theatre so you have found the perfect place to read my latest thoughts and lists on all those things! I occasionally still become a total fangirl over certain things and I have thoroughly enjoyed my love for film expanding to the theatre and seeing some of my favorite actors and actresses on stage!

    I read your three Top Ten lists you have on your site and thought they were great. I’m a huge movie buff and thought that you some great picks and good insight with your comments. I help run a site http://www.toptentopten.com/ which is entirely user generated top ten lists. We have seen that a lot of websites and bloggers who post their lists to our site are getting a lot of traffic to their site.

    You can source your list when you create it, and a link to your site appears at the bottom of the list. A lot of people click on your link because the original source is always better. Another thing we’ve noticed people do is put your url in the description, and make the list votable, so people can change the rank of your items. Votes are really what makes your list and profile on our site more popular. The more popular your list is on our site, the more people see it, and hopefully will visit your site.

  6. Help. I’m not the most tech savvy person. I notice you have a hit counter. Two questions: One) How do I get one? Two) will it start from 0 or doest it take its number from my wordpress dashboard and include all the hits I have had to date.

    Your advice would be appreciated.

  7. Hi Andy

    You go into the dashboard for your blog, then onto appearance. Then click on Widgets, you should then have different options and blog stats will be one of them. You pull that across to the sidebar and it should then appear on your blog. It wont start from zero it will put up the number of visits to your blog from when you started it.

  8. Thanks Caz. Unfortunately it seems that my theme isn’t widget aware. I need to update it (that looks very complicated) or change my theme. I will have to make decision. I wanted to get it up in time for my 10,000th hit that I should get in the next couple of weeks.

  9. Ahhh right, yeah some of them dont allow widget’s on for some reason. That would be cool to have it up and ready to show your 10,000 hit !!! That is a very good mark to reach.

  10. I had some help. One of my blogs was picked up on the IMDB hit list so featured on the IMDB homepage. That one article accounts for 4,000 hits. It looks like you started about the same time has me and have a similar number of hits.

  13. There is a new Meme called “10 Movie Facts About Me” doing the rounds. Having ignored the previous couple I thought I would give this one a go. Here is the result .     I’m so inspired by your blog. It looks amazing!!! I, too, am a film geek (and certain tv shows as well). I will certainly check out your reviews for top films. I just hate wasting my time with pathetic ‘fluffy’ films!!!

    I’ve started an Oscar Club on my blog which looks at the Best Picture Oscar Winners from the very beginning! So much fun!!
