Top 10 – Missed Films of 2011

I feel like I have missed quite a lot of the films which are on other blogger’s top 10 lists. Therefore I decided to make a list of the films I missed in 2011 which I really wanted to see. The main reason behind missing these films will be because of a limited release at the cinema, and mine usually gets missed out of these. Or that the film is only on for one week, and as soon as it is on it’s gone.

Looking at this list I feel as though I have missed some of the best films of 2011!

The Artist

The Help

Midnight in Paris

We Need to Talk About Kevin

Tree of Life

Ides of March

  1. I’m in a similar situation. Of these I haven’t seen (and absolutely want to see): The Artist, We Need to Talk About Kevin, Beginners, Hugo, Ides of March, Moneyball and Drive. The last one is what I’m looking forward to the most.

    • It’s so frustrating when the local cinema does not show some of the films. But then if they are only on for 1 week as well, makes it so difficult to catch them with work and other commitments at times.

  2. Yeah, there’s lots I need to see still. That why I usually don’t do my top ten list until Feb or even March, just so I can catch up.

I’ve been hearing lots about the Artist, and I actually just watched the star Jean Dujardin in a French comedy )SS 117. And he was downright hilarious, so now I am definitely interested.

    • I usually wait until then as well, but I don’t think a lot of the films I have in this list I will get to see before then. So admitted defeat and my best film list will be up shortly.
