7 Films you forgot Sarah Jessica Parker was in!

My previous blog post about Sarah Jessica Parker’s new film ‘I Don’t Know How She Does It’ got me thinking about her career on the silver screen. She has been in quite a lot of films now, but can you actually remember many of them? I am guessing for a lot of people the answer will probably be known. Most well-known for her role as Carrie Bradshaw in the Sex and the City TV Show.

When looking at her different roles to make this list, one thing that I seemed to notice is that not many of her characters are liked by the other characters. So that probably means that audiences aren’t really too fond on them either. That could possibly be a reason why SJP is not very well received by critics and movie watchers. Although I will always consider myself a fan after Sex and the City, and always hope that she gets some good movies to appear in.

Mars Attacks!

Her role in this film of the reporter who has her head put onto the body of her dog after being captured by the aliens.

Hocus Pocus

The youngest of the three sisters, who are resurrected in Salem on Halloween. The least serious out of the three and seems to just want to have fun.

The Family Stone

The woman who is taken to meet her fiance’s family . . . but not very well received at all by his sister and mother. More so when she ends up falling for his brother!

Failure to Launch

A very strange job for SJP in this one, her character is hired by parents of men who have still not left home. Her job is to get them to have their own independence.

Smart People

The doctor and former student of the widowed professor who is having plenty of problems in his life. She had a long crush on him, but that does not mean it is an easy situation.

The First Wives Club

In this one she is the woman the first wives all hate. She is the young woman who ends up with an older man creating enemies of his first wife along the way.

In the role as a friend, and one of her first major films.
